An increase in labour productivity
Gavà Town Council wanted to improve management by applying criteria of rationality, efficiency and austerity, at the same time modernising the municipal organisation and positioning itself as a benchmark body in the implementation of the changes that Public Administrations and the local world must undertake.
A plan known as Plan GAVÀ21 was developed, with the aim of optimising the use of resources, reducing costs and offering a better service to citizens, and in which, in addition to other initiatives, HR management solutions had to be incorporated to measure, optimise and dedicate resources more efficiently, focusing on improving productivity.
The aim was to improve the management model to make it more solid and efficient, with more objectivity and the ability to make the right decisions to strengthen the areas that provide the most value to citizens. It was also intended to contemplate initiatives for savings, transparency and, in short, to support the GAVÀ21 Plan to rationalise and better manage resources.
